Trippy Hearts

Trippy Hearts is a Boise trio making hypnotic, melodic rock—three pals, one Rhodes, all mood, and not afraid to get loud. Formed in 2013, the band is me AKA Jenn Sutkowski (Rhodes, keys, vocals), Brent Heiner (guitar, harmonies), and Stephen Samuelson (drums).
Our second album, Murmuration (My My Records, 2026), explores what three people can build in a world that feels like it’s falling apart. The album reached #1 on Radio Boise’s Top 30 and has received airplay and coverage across the country and abroad. Rebel Noise called “Impossible Current” “lush and emotionally charged,” while Vox Wave Magazine wrote, “Murmuration is a step-by-step manual on how to create something monumentally beautiful out of debris, grief, and uncertainty.”
Trippy Hearts has shared stages with Blonde Redhead, Greet Death, King Hannah, and Night Palace.
Our second album, Murmuration, is available now. On vinyl for the true heads.

I made this video with some of the coolest women around. I'm so grateful they were willing to be open, vulnerable, and make art with me. I love it:

East Witch West
East Witch West is Jenn Sutkowski, Emily Taylor, Abigail Taylor, and Brent Heiner. Harmony magicks, excavating the feels-y depths, friends sending songs and love back and forth from Boise, ID to Cambridge, MA with a short stop on a satellite or two in space. Mystical art-folk sprinkled with synths.
